To whomever thinks Dipper's real name is Abel, because it's written on the tree in the credits.

Recently i've been seeing a TON of YouTube & reddit comments stating that the writer thinks that Dipper's real name is Abel, as it's written on the tree during the credits. It's not. For that reason anyway. On the tree there are many hearts carved into it with writing showing 'Mabel + (Insert summer crush here - eg: Norman, Mermando & Gabe)' all crossed out.

However the last one is not Abel, as even on this cruddy picture of the tree it clearly says: "Mabel + Mabel" in a heart. Alex is telling us that Mabel is starting to love just herself and doesn't need a new boyfriend all the time to feel like she's achieved something. She's just Mabel, and she's okay with that. Plus, if it WAS Abel, and that IS Dipper's name, then considering Mabel was in a (kinda) romantic relationship with all of the others, wouldn't that mean that the same goes for Dipper..? Guys, I highly doubt that Alex is endorsing Pinecest on a Disney show. His name still may be Abel, we'll have to wait until July for the real answer, but Abel isn't what's written on the tree.
