So I'm thinking about coming back.

Hi guys. Long time ex capsuleer here. Recently I've been feeling the space itch again and, since Elite just doesn't do it for me and Star Citizen is still far from finished, I'm considering giving EVE another go. So can anybody give me a compact version of what changed in the game since early 2012? I'm not talking about politics here, just game mechanics.
