I'm [20/m] dating a girl (20/f) I met last month for the last two weeks but other girl is splitting my head

So as the title suggests, i've been dating a girl I met last month. We've only been dating for two weeks but since I went on this date, a close friend of mine has professed their attraction towards me. She's 18 and still in school (I'm in college). She says that she has been dropping hints but trust me, these were non-existent or too subtle to be hints. I like the girl i'm dating a lot but I also like the other girl. She knows about the girl i'm dating but the girl i'm dating doesn't know about her. She feels that I have to choose and that I cant date both to see who I like. I feel like if I continue to date the girl, i'll lose a friend but if it I choose the friend then i could regret my decision. i'm not sure if my feelings are simply because she is a fiend and i dot want to hurt her or if i have genuine romantic feelings although I did think about her romantically in the past.
