Trials of Osiris, a tale of woe.

Kinderguardian here, I started playing on boxing day and I have loved destiny so much, I play almost every day. After levelling, gearing up and raiding I have found myself searching for stuff to do in the game, I started pvping more. Previously I had only really done the daily pvp and smashed guardians with my hilt for the sword questline...

Fastforward a couple of weeks, I think I am pretty decent at pvp, play IB goes well. Crimson days rocks around, myself and buddy decide to give it a go for the ghost. We end up having an absolute blast and actually winning most games.

and then... we try Trials of Osiris this last weekend... after winning the first game 5-4 we were feeling pretty good, it was tough but fun. but then we proceeded to get punished and punished over and over. we called it at 11 games (when we finished our bounties). Feeling pretty disheartened, I decided to have a look at DTR and guardian.gg (which one does everyone use btw?) turns out we were matchmade against much higher skill players. Is this what trials is usually like? is this something to do with the matchmaking changes?
