Feeding an animal to make it grow up should take a max of 20 food.
This feels like it's the kind of stuff someone would have posted before, but I looked it up and I didn't see anyone with this idea. Anyway there is some math in case it's hard to understand.
It's weird that if you feed an animal fast enough you can make they eat over 128 food.
As far as I know, feeding an animal is supposed to speed their growth by 5%, but instead of reducing 5% of total time, it is reducing 5% of the time left over.
So basically what I'm trying to say is:
If an animal takes 20min. to grow up, each time you feed it, 1min. is reduced from that time, regardless of how much time has passed.
Example:
Feeding an animal that takes a max of 20min to grow after 5 min (20-5=15). Instead of taking 5% of 15min, it takes 5% of 20min (20*5/100=1), reducing 1min, (15-1=14).
This is actually very simple, but I left some details juuust in case it was hard to undestand.
