Xcom EW or Xcom 2?

As the title says, I'm kind of torn in between. I don't know if my pc will support Xcom 2, since I can barely run a game like Dragon's Dogma on max settings, but I really want to play it.

I was wondering if I would be getting the same kind of experience with EW, while waiting for me to get the pc for Xcom 2.

Should I just hop on for Xcom 2 and hope that my pc can make it? Or should I just buy EW, even if it might not have all the content of Xcom 2? Or am I completely lost and EW has more content/depth than Xcom 2? I'm kind of lost peeps!
