New Ski Tuning Start-Up Looking for Some Feedback
Hey all, I belong to a brand new start-up out of Boulder, CO that specializes in engineering innovative ski-tuning equipment. We’re currently at-work starting up the business, however, we have a few prototypes of our gear ready for some user trials, and we want to hear from you! One of the devices we’re most proud is a transformative waxing/edging device, code name Saucer Boy:
Are you a DIY home-tuner who wants to speed up the process? Or have you wanted to start getting into home tuning but don’t want to pay for all the hundreds of dollars of equipment? Either way, we’ve got you covered. We’re rolling out a new device that allows you to hot wax, scrape, and sharpen your edges all at once. The handheld, portable, and ergonomic device uses a patent-pending design to lay only the required amount of wax on your base quickly and efficiently, minimizing waste and the time it takes to finish your tune-up. On top of that though, it utilizes a motorized stone to more quickly sharpen your edges WHILE you wax. Forget buying an iron, multiple files, scrapers, and doing it the old-fashioned way; with this one tool you can reduce your wax waste AND your tuning effort, giving you more time on the mountain.
We’re looking for some real user feedback, so if you’re interested, leave a comment below. If you’re in the Boulder area or if you’ll be skiing some of the nearby resorts, we’ll even come to you!
Thanks guys, and hope you’ve all gotten some pow days this season! Your Colorado Ski Bros
