Custom printed Legos

I was wondering for those that custom print Lego parts, how exactly do you do it? What kind of equipment do you use and how much does it typically run, price-wise, and where did you get it? I'm just looking to print out some of my favorite/lost pieces and dabble with some custom minifig stuff. Thanks in advance!
