We contacted the people whose space we want to rent!

I have a really messed up family. Very abusive and controlling. after years of abusive I finally went full no contact as of yesterday.

before this happened but when the decision was made already to cut contact. I had posted vaguely on Facebook about having our reception at a boardgames cafe. we love boardgames and we go to this place once a month with friends. we give boardgames as gifts. it's our thing. my father not understanding this calls me just to freak out at me about this. saying f that we can't do this since they're paying.

1. my parents are not paying.

2. it's our reception. fuck you guys.

3. this is what we want. we don't like big wedding receptions. we want low key like us.

so after going no contact...we contacted them. they haven't gotten back to us yet, but we'll see.

they contacted us back. they said they'd love to rent to us. now we just need a date and to redo thr guest list.
