The Import/Export feature and the use of the .mcworld file
As of recently, the Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Beta has received the long overdue Import/Export system, which dates back to when you could could copy old worlds in 0.4.0 (Oh how far we have traveled!) The new problem is that:
-
The Import/Export fails to import the folder itself (the way we used to share them), requiring it's prepackaging in the .mcworld format (which still uses the old methods!).
-
The iOS and Android version don't have this button which confuses users and complicates easy export and import from Win 10.
So now the question is: When will the import/export come to iOS and Android and will it use the native file storages? If you didn't know, as of iOS 8, Apple added the ability to have a file picker grab files directly from cloud storage such as iCloud, Google, Onedrive and any other service that makes itself compatible with this file picker.
