Hi there r/cookieclicker. Long time clicker first time poster, please help.

Hi there, I really don't understand intricacies of this game like a lot of you do. I've read the wiki and a lot of these posts but everyone seems to talk about the game like they already know what's gooing on. I have't a clue... I'm really intimidated by the new version and still hesitant to ascend for the first time. I just started a trial run but I feel like I should just stick with my old game and get Heavenly chips way faster. I'm making 17 quintillion CPS but literally have no grid for how my progress is going or how to navigate the ascension properly, I just don't understand the new version. When do the large number of CPS come. will I get back to 17 quintillion? If someone experienced could pm me and upload my game code to have a look I'd be stoked to chat and ask questions/advice. Or if anyone had questions that they can ask me that might get my thinking right about the game. Thanks all
