Get a free statistical report on something Bitcoin related! Give me a topic...
Hi all,
I am going for my second master's (first in physics) in computer sciences and have been given a project in an intermediate level statistics course. I'd like to do something bitcoin related, perhaps analyze some blockchain data but I have no idea where/what/how. Is there any bitcoin related topic that could pertain to the following project description?
"Your project will consist of designing a study or experiment, finding background material, gathering data, performing appropriate hypothesis tests, and interpreting your results. You will be expected to use tests that we have studied, including multiple regression, ANOVA (anything but a one-way ANOVA), or logistic regression. Your project should demonstrate that you can correctly and appropriately apply what we’ve discussed. You want your analysis to be substantial enough to allow you to write the 15 page final document. Therefore, you might want to plan for two analyses, such as starting with regression and following up with an ANOVA, or performing multiple ANOVAs with posthoc tests. Alternatively, you can perform one substantial analysis, like stepwise regression, or use the nested-f test to test several models. This means you might want to find two datasets that can be used to address your question of interest, or one large enough with different kinds of variables to make things interesting. You could also combine datasets that have the same experimental unit (like data for states, or countries)."
I'd love to do something related to bitcoin scaling, I just need a push in the right direction and I can take it from there.
Thanks!
