Feeling Unwanted.

Hi all,

I've made a new account just for this post.

Over the last three and a half years my ability to accept solitude from other people has weakened to the point where I hope that someone would show a minor bit of interest in my life. I'm a recent university graduate who works a 42 hour full time job and a 18ish hour part time job (to pay for my student overdraft and all....) I have my own flat and car, and have been paying my way through life for these three and a half years. I look at my self as if I was another person and see that I should be doing well but I simply am not.

I live alone and I am not very close to my family so it's always just me. Now in social environments I'm not shy or nervous however even though I always ask about how people are, what they did over the weekend e.t.c and show real enthusiasm in trying to connect with people, I have not once been asked how I am doing or what is new with me. I could deal with it while at university because I could convert this isolation to productivity in my work but now I am working 10ish hours a day 6 days a week whilst not enjoying my jobs, it is really effecting me to the point where I am putting on weight, being consistently tired and just generally sad on the inside.

I just don't understand why no-one has taken any interest in me whatsoever, I've lost motivation, drive and unfortunately have to now say I don't have any friends. Just co-workers.

I know life on your own can be rewarding, and I have experienced that first hand but what I am experiencing now is just depressing.....

Can anyone here relate? Or help me find out how I can get back onto the path I miss.

Thanks for reading.
