Standard Release Date Wild Speculation

With Blizzard under a lot of pressure to change the meta up, have people really thought about when it will happen? Blizzard has announced that they will make a large announcement on Wednesday, March 9. Blizzard also seems to release things on Thursdays at 10:00 AM PST. Could this possibly mean that Blizzard will announce everything on Wednesday and then release everything on the very next day? The only reason I am saying this is because the meta needs Standard mode so badly because it is so stale.
