Black Desert Wizards vs Tamer

Basically, I just want to know your opinions on these 2 classes, I like how Tamer has that giant wolf creature and has very high evade abilities. For Wizard, I just love its flashy skills and how its meleeish and range but I don't like how it has a supportive role. So if I play wizard will I just be like healing and buffing people?
