Issue with PCIe connectors

Hey guys! I recently bought a sapphire r9 390 to replace my HD 7950. The 795 required two 6 pin connectors, while the 390 requires 2 8 pin connectors. Are 2 6+2 pin connectors fine? I know that my seasonic 620w psu will be able to power the card.
