Good oxygen-propane torch?

Im interested in buying a oxy-propane torch. I dont know where to get a good cheap one. I'd also like to know more about them. Do i need eyegear when using them? and aside from heating things really hot and cutting, what else can they do? Home depot has a oxy-mapp torch, would that be interchangable with propane?
