Half-baked potato on Cinder's clothes and her powers?
So I don't believe that Cinder physically has many of her powers, if any at all, including those of the Fall maiden. I think they are contained within her dress. Remember that dust can be sown into clothing. Ever since the first episode the lines on her dress glow in response to things she is doing.
Same with during the fight with Amber. These two images are seconds apart.
The lines stop glowing after Cinder stops exhibiting her powers in the Vault, shortly after touching the floor again.
Here's that same glow during the fight with Ozpin
and Pyrrha.
That dress obviously plays a large role with her powers. I don't think we can be sure exactly how it works yet, but I think the glove she used on Amber is how she puts powers into her dress.
The glove fades, most likely into the clothing.
Notice she uses the same hand she had the glove on when confronting Adam afterwards and only that sleeve is glowing (you can see neutral lines on her back).
Remember how after hearing about Pyrrha's semblance she wanted her added to a list? Then said "It's not about overpowering your enemies. It's about taking what power they have." I think Cinder steals the aura from people, which also gives her their semblances. Her dress may be an armory of semblances.
Just a thought.
