[Javascript] Teaching my 8 year old Javascript from a book. What can I supplement that with?

We read the book quite a bit, and he's excited to learn more and even asks me out of the blue if I'll read more to him. But I find we do a lot of reading in bed and not so much at the computer.

Wondering what kind of at-the-keyboard tutorials might be good to supplement with?

One of the coolest things for me when starting this with him was the unexpected learning. Like what all the brackets are, what a semi-colon is, using the shift key, shift-enter for new lines, that / is divide and * is multiply, that things in brackets are executed first and why that's important... etc etc! He learned all that the first time we sat down to read.
