Plausible to cleanse without diet?

Hello all,

I've been suffering from a lot of the C. gut overgrowth symptoms for a couple of years. Especially fatigue, bloating and brain fog. I am planning on visiting my doctor soon to see about it, as last time my Ig"x" values were okay last time, but I thought I'd look into a cleanse and probiotic regiment for a couple of months to see if I get any better. I do not have thrush, but I have had athletes foot on and off for a while and I did have the root splitting effect in the self test with saliva in water.

Long story short, can I use a store/online bought Candida cleanse followed with probiotics for a couple of months with benefit without being on a strict diet? Unfortunately, I'm in college and have a very busy schedule/tight budget so I doubt I'll be able to follow the Candida diet. I'd definitely be cutting non-complex sugars and things like that.

Ultimately, I'm not sure if I have an overgrowth, but I have had chronic fatigue for some time and my doctor diagnosed it as idopathic hypersomnolence. Therefore, there is an unknown root to the issue. I wanted to give the overgrowth idea a try as I'm desperate to up my energy as I'm getting ready to apply to medical school.

Regards!

Edit - I also wanted to add that I've had rhinitis for about a year with unknown cause, as well.
