Laptop restarts automatically after attempting to shutdown WIN 8.1

I don't know what triggered it, it worked fine before then out of the blue this issue started happening.

It's a gigabyte p25xv2 gaming laptop.

I downloaded newest BIOS - didn't solve it.

I upgraded to Windows 10 - didn't work.

I turned off fast-boot, I disabled my wifi cards, I checked my laptop BIOS for any settings and there are none.

I turned off "restart in case of crash" setting.

I did a full system restore, it didn't solve it.

I tried the powercfg command in the command prompt and I get 0 info on what restarts my computer.

As it stands it only shuts down when I hold the power button.

What else can I try? Thanks.
