[crowdfunding] Support Russell (me) Zimmerman's new novel project!

Howdy folks. I checked with the admin before posting this, so if anyone's mad about a little shameless plug, take it out on Dethstrobe, not me. ;)

I'm Russell Zimmerman, Shadowrun freelancer and novelist, and I'm not at all giving up on that, I'm just doing this full-time now so I need more than someone else's toys in someone else's sandbox, to keep me busy. I've had an idea for a sci-fi universe for a really long time, but it's been a 'back burner' project for me, but now that I've got the time, and now that Nerdist's got the contest going, I figured I'd get off my butt and move forward.

If you like what you see and you think a sci-fi universe full of stuff like dystopian oppressive governments conscripting a military to wage war against stuff like starfighter pilots desperately seeking to keep their corporate sponsorships could be fun, please share and preorder.

I'm gunning for 100 or so preorders by mid-March (that would get me soundly into the running for top spot for Nerdist sponsorship, myself), so the more the merrier, and I hope you think it looks badass. Early pledgers are also plenty likely to be 'mined' by me when I'm looking to name-drop soldiers, pilots, and crewmen, so getting your foot in the door is a decent way to maybe see your name in more than just the BACK of the book (more than one shadowrunner has made it into my work just for kicks, the least I can do is reward preorders that way, too, right?). :)

I've got more info coming -- more preview text, some cover art, all kinds of good stuff -- but hopefully what's there now is enough to whet your shadowrunny appetites.

Thanks (and thanks, 'strobe)!
