Concealed Carry Permit Law?

Location: Northwestern Pennsylvania

My mother was recently released from jail, and is in probation/parole for violating her PFA by being in possession of a loaded firearm. Her Parole Officer claims that if she is even in the vicinity of a firearm, she will go back to jail.

I have a concealed carry permit, and I carry a 9mm pistol with me nearly everywhere I go. She says that if I get pulled over and the firearm is found, on my possession, she goes back to jail.

This doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone shine some light on it?
