Need help with my broken z1

Hello So today i woke up to find my z1 on the ground with a crack on it's screen, and the touchscreen isn't working in half the screen, so i can't unlock my pattern, without being able to unlock it, i can't connect the phone into my pc to backup all my files... is there a way to acess the storage without unlocking the phone?
