So I Went to Watch Deadpool Last Night (in Canada)...
Here I was, stepping out of the car, filled with excitement and joy. I walked into the theater like I owned the place with a stride that could rival superman's. I buy my ticket and the guy tells me to "enjoy the movie," psshh... little do they know, the only reason I'm even here is to finally see the final BvS trailer with Batman wooping some ass ^(and the good Deadpool reviews).
I take my seat and the room darkens, the trailers starts rolling in. I watch a couple and Bohemian Rhapsody starts playing... ^(ooooooh sheeeeeet) I was pleasantly surprised since I had forgotten that they will also show this trailer. I had the biggest grin of my life while watching that trailer, if someone had spotted me, they would've thought I was the joker! As soon as the trailer ended, a lot of chatter was going on around me about how awesome harley and the movie looked!
At this point, my hype meter is going off the charts, I was ready to turn into Bane with the amount of adrenaline flowing through me. This was it, the moment of truth, let me hear that batwing fly by...
and the 20th Century Fox logo appears.
What. The. Fuck.
They DIDN'T play it!? The movie is a month away and there hasn't been a single BvS trailer shown in my theater. They EVEN played the Suicide Squad trailer which is in SIX MONTHS away! Oh man, my blood was boiling, I was about to go firestorm on some poor employee.
"That's how it starts. The fever, the rage, the feeling of powerlessness that turns good men... cruel."
Luckily the movie was funny and calmed me down, but I was still very disappointed.
Sorry, I had to rant. I went from being superman, to bane, to joker, to firestorm all in one night. Hopefully you enjoyed the story.
TL;DR: Went to watch Deadpool hoping to see the final BvS trailer on the 'big screen', people loved the Suicide Squad trailer, but the final BvS trailer didn't get played. I was furious.
