Advice on what job to take.

Seeking Advice

I have been offered a job as a network support engineer by Cisco. Mainly working with switches, wireless, firewalls and VPNs.

I have also been offered a job from a service provider dealing with general networking for the first year and the second going into architecture design.

I have been told by my lectures having Cisco on my CV is a huge bonus and it'll be better than working with a service provider in the long term.

To me it seems I'll be starting at a lower level than I would if I went for the service provider role and I'm unsure if it's in my best interest to spend a few years getting Cisco under my belt before trying to get into architecture design.

Anyone have any advice on what role would be best to go for?
