Guild gold spending

So, my guild is a total PVE social guild. We save up money, and whenever we can afford it we get a trader for a week. Though it is nice to have and fun to do every once in awhile, it's doesn't even almost pay for itself. So, my question is, what else do guilds spend money on? Any outside the box interesting things that might benefit the guild?
