Why are the new james bond movies considered bad?

I was watching a stream the other day, and two people were saying how they loved JB movies but didnt even care to watch spectre because they had heard it was awful.

I watched it when it first released and didn't know until now that this was the common word. I really enjoyed the movie.

They actually bashed all Daniel Craig bonds in general.
