Have they fixed the aiming in halo 5 yet?

So I stopped playing halo 5 after it came out that they completely pooped all over the aiming and changed it from past halos. Really want to come back to it but I won't unless they fixed aiming or at least give you the option to go back to the old way. Have they caved yet?
