I thought this would be fun, I feel let down

First off, yes I know this is a beta. I know some things will change. However, I just don't feel like this game will last long. It plays like Defiance with a Tom Clancy spin on it. What is the endgame? What kind of content is there to do? The beta just allowed people to run around and shoot at things and I was truly hoping for more from this. I know crafting/passive perks and a few other things weren't implemented, but I mean, what else is there going to be in the game?

The whole game just feels...generic. Map is boring with elements of copy/paste, content gets old fast, HUD & controls don't really allow customization, and it just feels like a bland game overall. Again, I know it's the beta experience, but 2 weeks from launch and this is what they're showing? It doesn't seem promising. I want to like this game but I feel it will be one of those games that people buy at launch and put down after 2 weeks unfortunately.
