Dollar Account Savings - BDO/BPI

I'm getting a check from US (in dollars) every month. I'm planning to open a dollar account in BDO/BPI to encash the check. Can someone explain me how it works? Like how much is the initial deposit to open an account and what are the requirements, charges, and other stuff?
