HELP! Will visit davao this weekend

Will visit davao this weekend. Any recommendations or suggestions where to go? will stay from feb 25-28. Initially, we are planning to go to samal island then go to Surigao for Enchanted river. Any cheap hotel suggestions or packages I could avail? thanks in advance
