Feeling out of place.

It's been seven weeks since my wife died and I am in a bit of a rut. I have been hanging out with friends and getting some legal stuff together and such but one thing keeps nagging the ever living hell out of me.

I called my mother-in-law, brother-in-law, three of my good friends, and some former co-workers to see if they wanted to get together sometime this weekend. The key words being, I called them. Almost none of them returned my calls (but my mother and brother in law are posting things on Facebook daily). I honestly feel like I am having to put in all the work in these relationships. It frustrates me to no end. There are things of my late wife that I know her mom would want, but nope, apparently even a text is too hard. I invite my friends to my house to play board games or to go eat. Nothing.

I am tempted to just not answer any texts or calls unless they actually initiate wanting to see me first.
