Coming Back After Taking an Extended Leave of Absence

Has anyone started at McGill, finished x credits, left for whatever reason and come back to finish his degree? I am anxious to go back to McGill and finish up for a number of reasons. A) Terrible weather, B) Feeling of being old, C) No friends as all have graduated or left, D) Feelings of failure.

I want to hear how you managed to deal with any of these issues as I contemplate whether to go back to Montreal and McGill.
