Is my Fizz build outdated?

So, I've been a Fizz main since season 3. I've always went with the typical route of Dorans x2 into Lich Bane then either Deathcap or Hourglass.

Right now, I feel that this path is really slow when trying to get into Lich bane. Provided that I don't experience latency issues, I've never lost lane, except when i get camped or I'm against a good Orianna.

With the recent nerfs, he just doesn't feel like what he used to. Do you have any suggestions on what build path I should do.

Ignite/Barrier
Start: Ring + Pots
Core: 2x Ring + T1 Boots + Lich Bane
Mid-late Core: Hourglass + Deathcap/Void

Should I try building other items like Morello or Echo first?
