I crashed my friends car and he didn't mind.

[Remorse] First I have to say my friend is an angel!

My friend went out of town for 2 weeks and gave me his car, he has a nice sports car which is expensive.

I had it for one week and it was all good I took care of it never went fast or anything like that.

My and 3 friends decided to go away for the weekend, we had a great time and blah blah. I dropped them off at their place and I chilled there for a little bit, I had some wine to drink and got tipsy. I waited an hour and drove home, I wasn't drunk, but I may of not have the best judgment as they say alcohol does that. On my way home I got on the highway and the same car as me was in front and he started going fast, so I decided to follow. We were both swerving in and out hitting 100mph ( this is not how I ever drive the little bit of alchol defiantly had an impact on my judgment) next think I know my gps says get off at next exit which was right there. I hit the breaks as hard as I could and started going down the windy ramp and boom I got the wall and totaled the car. I didn't get a scratch or anything (expensive car equals good safety) Cops show up they give me a breathalyzer and I'm like I'm fucked I'm getting a dui but they said there was nothing and I was good.

I called my friend and told hi. What happened and all he said was, as log as you are okay, shit happens plus I've been wanting to get a new car for awhile..

I was expecting to get disowned as a friend or just something bad but all he had was love! I'm just amazed at that and never again will I drink with any alcohol in my system. I purchased a keychain breathalyzer for my own safety. I think it should be mandatory to get one!
