Help me have my Houston moment.
Hey guys! I am embarking on an 8-city road trip over Spring Break with my girlfriend, and Houston is our fourth stop. I need your help.
In the morning in each of these cities, I want to have an hour or two of alone time to myself. In this hour, I want to have a quintessential "Houston moment," which is a moment that I really feel like a true HOU resident. How can I do this? Props can be involved. Preferably no food!
For example, in Tennessee, I was told to head out to a pier and read William Faulkner novels. In Indi, I was told to walk down this strip and get a coffee near a mural of Kurt Vonnegut.
I'm staying near downtown Houston. As close to the city as possible would be helpful. Where can I find the true experience? The true feeling of living in HOU?
