Would a MS in Biology do anything for me as a MLS?
I've been looking into this MS in Biology program at a local university. From what I've read, it seems like something I could realistically finish and afford.
However, I feel like it would have no application to my career as a MLS. Is anyone else in this situation or know a co-worker who has a MS in Biology?
The reason why I'm looking into this is just because I'm really interested in science and I'm starting to miss college. But, I don't want to waste time, money, and energy on something that won't have any effect on my job opportunities.
Btw, the MS program is at a university with a less-than-spectacular reputation. It's pretty much the Wal-Mart of higher education. Low price, low quality.
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
