Looking for advice on an electric scooter

Hello r/scooters. I've been contemplating getting some kind of mid-range electric vehicle to replace my gas-powered car for most traveling. Does anyone have advice regarding an electric scooter with a 45+ mph top speed (so I can ride it between towns) and a decent range? Everything I have found so far online is either below 30 mph or significantly more expensive. Is there anything like this for say, $3000 or less? Or, should I just be saving up for an electric car instead, as I'd rather do that than drop $6000 on a scooter?
