Having issues with the new permissions system

Hey Guys,

So I have an LG G4 that recently got an update to android 6.0

Now, my file explorer application (Root Explorer) and my Music application (Poweramp) don't work.

I went into the new Application manager (which is another shit show. Takes forever to load, can't sort it, and it's hard to see what apps you've moved to the SD card), and I noticed that neither of them have the "Storage" permission enabled. So I went and enabled it on both, however when I exit, it doesn't save. Is there something I'm missing here?

If I'm missing any info, please let me know!

Thanks!
