[TOMT] A book series with 2 kids maybe where they'd use a treehouse or something to go back in time to like Indians and egypt and stuff?

There was a show too or a shoe like it i also used to watch.and all i know is kids would go back in time somehow and they'd have to do a specific yhing before thry could go back to the present. My mom would read me yhr books all the time. I might have two series mixed up too... It would be cool to discover them both if so

Edit: magic tree house by Mary Pope osbourne. Jack and Annie were the kids names and that gave it away
