For the first time ever I've beaten XCOM, and it's left me a little depressed.

XCOM:EU/EW

I've played 30 different campaigns, easily, but I always lost interest around the first base assault. The HQ defense almost always killed most of my A-Team, and I get attached to my characters pretty easily.

This time, however, I started off with a team, and I finished with that same team. Sure some time was spend in the infirmary, but they absolutely kicked ass. From start to finish, only two soldiers died. A rookie, Chen Zao, who died in the raid on XCOM HQ, and The Volunteer. I grew very attached to my team, spending so much time watching them rock the aliens' world. For the last 15 or so missions maybe one of my guys went to the infirmary. Hopefully, I'll see them again in XCOM 2.

Rest in Peace, David "Mad Man" Taylor. He gave his life flying the mothership out of Earth's Atmosphere so that the explosion wouldn't consume the world on January 1st, 2016. He missed the most of all my team, but his righteous beard and badass mowhawk totally made up for it. You'll be more than fuckin missed, brother.
