Yep, I'm an idiot. Locked myself in a damn building

Never been here before, so something like this may have been posted before, but I just wasted most of my night and need to share somewhere. Just bought the Escapists/Walking Dead bundle and have really been enjoying the Walking Dead one.

Just got to the Correctional Facility and was feeling good! Cleared almost the entire map, have all my keys, and I'm just about to finally go get the riot gear.

In a moment of pure genius, I think it would be a good idea to put my purple key just outside of the purple door to save inventory space. So I opened the door, didn't cross the threshold, and threw my damn key on the ground. Naturally, I then proceeded to loot the rest of the purple building only to come back and find a damn locked door which needs a purple key and the purple key sitting on the other side of the door looking me right in the eye.

So now I'm thinking, "Alright, don't panic, I think I have enough files to bust some vents, get to the roof, and jump off a pipe hopefully.

There was no roof access, there were no pipes, there was no hope.

It should also be said that I never saved once, since nighttime is the best time to get shit done.

Damn fool...
