Looking for an EDC 18650 light for "defense" in the vein of an Eagletac D25LC2

I am considering getting a single 18650 light for EDC. I blame this sub. Everyone got on me and the itch for more lumens is strong.

I currently carry a Eagletac D25A or an Eagletac D25A2 depending on the situation. The reason I like the Eagltac D25 lights is the pocket clip that makes it easy to carry, the tail cap clicky that makes it easy to turn on, and the operating mode. That operating mode is the biggest deal for me. I like that if I leave the head tightened down it defaults to Turbo or Strobe and those are the only two options. I like this because if I'm walking around downtown I leave the head tightened down and someone is creeping me out I can get to the Turbo and strobe mode immediately, shine it in their eye and then book it; I don't have to fumble through 4 different modes, I don't have to remember to press and hold the button for 3 seconds or something like that to get to the high output.

Purpose: EDC and self defense.

Size: It must be less than 5.5 inches long. The D25A2 is 5.7" and it's bordering on too long.

Battery Type & Quantity - 18650 and preferably something that will take CR123As so I can use them in a pinch if I need to run out and I forgot to charge the 18650. To that end I need a recommendation on which 18650 batteries and charger to get. For the charger I would prefer something that will also charge Enloop AA and AAAs is that is at all possible.

Price Range: Less than $100.

Type: Handheld with a pocket clip. I don't want a belt holster I want to carry it in my front pocket.

Switch Type: tail cap clicky for the on or off.

Lumens - Here's the sticker for me. The Eagltac D25LC2 gets 850 lumens and I already know I like the operating mode. If the light isn't much brighter than that I'll probably just get the D25LC2.
