A sound defense for next season.

It is no joke to say that our squad is paper thin. Axing 25 players was the biggest mistake of LVG's reign. I think only our Goalkeeping department is not short of talent.

These are the defenders that I have seen in the BPL, Europa, Champions League that I think will come to United and will fit in.

The rules are that there to be about 3 personnel per position. Personnel bought is ensured that they are not playing regularly for a big team /a team going to UCL.

The caveat is that I do not add in the human element to it, will the player want to come if there is this many competition. I did not think for another backup for Shaw. Even then, Rojo, whom I determine at Centre Back, can play left too. Blind is to be taken as a Defensive midfielder.

Right Backs: Darmian remains as first Choice. Silvestri from Sampodoria. A more experienced and a back up for Darmian in Italy too. McNair remains as third choice back up.

Centre Backs:

4 Centrebacks to be fighting/ rotating for 2 starting places:

Smalling Retained Marquinhos from PSG Stones from Everton Laporte from Bilbao

Backup Centre Backs: Rojo and Jones retained

Left back: 1st choice: Shaw retained 2nd choice: (Rojo) if necessary 3rd choice: Bro-Jack

Might be a splurge. But I think it is necessary to shore up our defense.
