As unbiased as possible please

So I know that asking here will have obvious bias, but I would like to know from y'alls perspective. I got accepted to a&m without any scholarships out of state. I will try to get into engineering either by transferring from blinn or just transferkng majors. I also got into LSU into the petroleum engineering major with a in state tuition waiver and a 15000 dollar scholarship, so around 32000 in yearly savings. I would like to know if y'all think it is worth coming to a&m for the difference in cost and uncertainty of actually getting into engineering for the much better ranked schooling.
