My coworkers are forcing me and another worker into a 'relationship' and I'm bugging out

Today at work my coworkers decided to play cupid. They noticed that whenever I am working [20F], another coworker 'seemed to linger around the front desk (where we are) more than usual'. [24M]

Their girl senses quickly picked up that, yes, I was attracted to him and he to I but we never acted on it. Instead of leaving everything be and to the universe or whatever, one of them decided to go back and forth all day between his area and ours "getting details".

She told me that he thought I was super cute, and did want to take me out but was worried about our work environment. She then told me that we'd be going for "nachos" soon. Me, being the incredibly shy and self doubting self that I am was angry she did this but also flattered. My whole body turned bright red and hot, I was actually nervous!!

The rest of the day pursued with awkward convos when he would approach or walk past us, because we both knew that our coworkers were scheming on us.

I am excited, but also nervous. We can't seem to talk to each other. We both become super shy and look the other way as soon as we're left alone. I have no idea how to talk to him! And he, to me. We're SO NERVOUS around each other! But I feel like if we were able to hang out and actually talk, we'd have a lot of fun.

I usually end up just laughing whenever he's around, since he's always cracking jokes. But I have no response. Does anyone have advice on getting over the initial nerves of it all? Especially when he's nervous, too?
