Jinzo - Trap Destroyer/Lantern Ring - Limited Only By Imagination

I was wondering how these interacted. Does Jinzo only deal the two damage when I field the Lantern Ring? Does he deal it every turn it's active? Does he deal it when the ring deals damage on my attacks?
