PSA on pinglish/ finglish (transliteration/ latinicization of Persian)
I personally prefer that we use Persian text to write Persian, but I won't dictate what others should do, and I would certainly prefer someone who doesn't read the Perso-Arabic script to write transliterated Persian than no Persian at all. But there needs to be some standards.
I recently read this comment:
Barichi tooye farsi harf mizani? Ingelesi begoo ke hameh fekrhamoon ra bedoonan, man Irani hastam, barey hichchi ham avasesh nemikonam va nemizaram kesi alaki Irani-budan ra biareh paeen.
I don't even care about the text of the comment. The horrendous pinglesh is what bothers me.
Here it is in good pinglish:
Barichibarayeh chitooyetuyeh (beh) farsi harf mizani? Ingelesibegoobegukekeh hamehfekrhamoonfekrhamun rabedoonanbedunan, man Irani hastam, bareybarayeh hichchi hamavaseshavazesh nemikonam va nemizaram kesi alaki Irani-budan ra biarehpaeenpayin.
As a general rule, if you see yourself using two consecutive letters, stop.
