Locals Tournament Report: 3rd Place Magical Treats (Madolche)

First of all. I would like to thank u/Sparx129 for inspiring me to run madouches (Madolche) again and providing me with the idea of Magicians with Madolche. Some people have actually named the deck "MaMa" but it has no actual official name yet, so I would just call it or refer to it as "Magical Treats".

I only had the madolche core ready for the tournament and was in a rush to get all the other cards, bad experience, never again I'll go this unprepared. I was able to get most of the cards I was missing.

The Tournament had about 20 players (not 100% sure). Formatted on a 4 rounds of Swiss for a top 4 standings.

First Round: Magical Treats Vs. Odd-Eyes Magicians

W-L: 0-2

Well, this was my only lost. The first game, I literally had nothing to play, few magicians on hand but no madolche cards appeared through, needless to say, I got OTKed by turn 3. Game 2, was pretty much the same, no madolche cards, this time, I was able to last more turns, by pendulum summoning my only magician on the extra deck. Finally drew into a Mageline but got hit by Solemn Strike. Lost the game.

Second Round: Magical Treats Vs. Saterllaknights

W-L: 2-0

Lost the die roll. Opponent chooses to go first. This was about the same opening hands as my last round. Magician engine. My opponent has an Altair and bluff backrow. He manages to make a delteros, I make a Castel, get rid of his delteros, my opponent can't come back, I draw into the madolche engine, made queen, he scoops. Second game was faster, his only monster was an Alsahm and 4 back row, got rid of it, opened 2 MST and dragonpit. Got rid of his field, still got solemn warning. Managed to get rid of his Alsahm with a pendulum summon of Wisdom-eyes. My opponent has no come back. Next turn I make a queen with a single top deck of mageline. Won the game.

Third Roud: Magical Treats Vs. Graydle Kaijus

W-L: 2-0

Can't remember much. My opponent integrated some heavy samurai cards in his deck. The games went by fast, I was only able to see his Kaiju and heavy samurai engine. I was able to OTK him both games. I made naturia beast to go into chocolat a la mode and made a queen with her effect and ticket.

Fourth Round: Magical Treats Vs. Pendulum Magicians

W-L: 2-0

Another fast game. Both OTKs. He opens Kirin and a Magician. Bait it out, got rid of his scale with waverings. I had the madolche deck opening hand, was able to keep searching with mageline and ticket until his Kirin was no more and I had the hand to OTK. Second game I OTKed on my first turn, I opened Pendulum Call and Mageline, NS mageline, search Anjelly, Pendulum Call for Pit and Pulse, PS for Anjelly.... got queen and full board. Won the game.

My Side deck was random, didn't had time to put something decent on it, I did side 3 MSTs, 2 Time-Space, 3 Mistakes, 3 Mask of Restrict and I can't remember the rest.

On an additional notes, I would consider -2 Wavering Eyes, not really necessary. I would put them on the side. Maybe add in 1 more Dragonpulse and 1 more Maxx C.
